We invest in entrepreneurs who are building high growth companies and iconic brands

The Collective

Funds Seed Stage Enterprises

The Collective Funds is a Venture Capital Fund based in Kansas City,MO.

We catalyze seed stage businesses by investing our financial and social capital to drive early stage outcomes. We’re especially fond of high growth companies and iconic brands across a number of verticals including technology, hardware, goods and services.

Every 2-4 years, we expect to deploy up to $10 million into local startup ecosystems and measure the impact in our annual reports.

Supporting

Homegrown Entrepreneurs

The Collective Funds is a new take on Venture Capital.

In addition to accredited investors, our fund LP base is comprised of 35 rising leaders with a wealth of social capital in the local community. Although not necessarily accredited, these investors press our front line, catalyzing our investments with their expertise and knowledge, while learning the fundamentals of angel investments and defining the investment culture of a city.

While there are numerous programs that support the start of a new company and plenty of money to grow an established business there isn’t a beacon for organized capital at the seed to series stage.
